RETURN TO DORIGATI WINERY
THE GRAPE HARVEST OF MONROC PEOPLE
As the autumn arrived, we could not miss a visit to Dorigati Winery, to Paolo and Michele. And I have to say that it is always like being at a party go back to them, especially during the grape harvest.
We tried too and we had a lot of fun while picking (and eating) the grape bunches of their vineyards, scattered through all the Rotaliana Plain.
In the meaning while, Paolo got the idea to make some wine in the old-fashioned way and so…shoes off and we started trampling the Lagrein grape of Sottodossi vineyard. How funny!
Do not turn up your nose! After being trampled, wine is left to macerate and rest in steel barrels so that the temperature reached during the maceration eliminates the bacterial count. Are you more comfortable now?!
The wine-making procedures are laborious and at finished good this wine of # monrocpeople will be great, such as all the others of the Dorigati line.
So when you will be guests at Monroc try to ask if we already have that wine…we will let you have a taste!
