Some suggestions for a breathtaking December in Val di Sole!

Christmas is coming and we are preparing ourself in the best way. We are very euphoric for the beginning of the new winter season. Many special events are waiting for you. Enjoy your typical holiday in Trentino with culture, wellness, traditions and well being, discovering traditional nativity scenes, Christmas market, and, why not, tasting the typical sweets and the aromatised "Vin Brulè".

OSSANA,  THE NATIVITY SCENES VILLAGE: from 27.11 to 08.01.17, Ossana hosts more than 100 handmade nativity scenes. You can discover them simply by walking through the village in a very welcoming atmosphere: you will arrive at San Michael Castle where you will find the tradicional little houses of the Christmas market. We love them because it's the only place where you find local artisans with their original and unique products. Lights, colours and the smell of Vin Brulè for warming up the typical winter afternoons. Ossana is in the nearby of Monroc, it takes about 15 minutes by car: the Castle and the Christmas atmosphere will for sure, seduce you!

CHRISTMAS MARKET IN RANGO: They are a little more complicated to gain but they worth it ( 2 hours by car from Monroc). Many people talk about them, because they are different, more authentic and here, you can find the real atmosphere of Christmas. Rango is a small farmer village, typical of the mountains: small houses, narrow alley, old woodsheed, courtyard and colonnade. Here you will find typical local products and handmade artifacts.  It was rewarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Rango it's also the" Children's Christmas": you can find special events and games dedicated to them. Look at the timetable: 26/27 November, 3/4/8/9/10/11/17/18/26/27 December from 09.30 am to 6.30 pm.

CHRISTMAS MARKET IN TRENTO: During the last years, they have become a MUST, an unmissable event that recalls always more tourists and local people, who enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas. A "green Christmas market", sensitive to the environmental aspect, keyword with workmanship and tradition. Piazza Fiera and Piazza Cesare Battisti, in the city centre are adorned and are waiting only for you: you will find the typical little houses with local manufacts and you can taste the typical dishes. You will apprecciate the light games in Piazza Duomo, the atmosphere, the Christmas songs, the smells and tastes. Trentoc it's very easy to gain..to avoid the traffic jam and the problem of car parking, you simply have to exit from Monroc and take the elettric little train..in 1.30 hour you arrive in Trento.

Not only ski, nativity scenes and Christmas market. Here in Trentino you can't get bored! Sun Valley also in winter, offers many opportunities and activities to do directly in contact with nature. You can have a walk on the cycle path near the Noce River, ice scating, walking on the snow with the snow rackets..and what's about an excursion pulled by horses? It' s the real occasion to get involved with Christmas as only the children can do!
