Here’s where we answer your questions.
Starting with the obvious one: what do you mean by “explorer”? And do I really have to be one to stay at MONROC?

Relax. You don’t need to have climbed Everest or be able to tell moss from lichen. To us, being an explorer is a mindset. It’s choosing the unexpected. Ordering that one dish you can’t pronounce. Taking a dip in the pool while it’s raining. It’s waking up curious — even on days when your only plan is no plan.

So no, you don’t have to be an explorer already.
But stay with us… and you might just become one.

  • Is there storage for bikes, ski or sport gear?

    Absolutely. We’ve got a secure space for bikes and outdoor gear, complete with a boot dryer, tools, and a small workshop corner. True explorer gear deserves proper care — and here, it gets it.

  • Do you have vegetarian/gluten-free options?

    Of course! Our menu includes a full section for healthy (but tasty) eaters. And if you have allergies, let us know — we’ll take care of you.

  • Do you organize outdoor excursions? Are they for everyone? And how do I book?

    Yes, we do! In summer, every day brings a new adventure — from hikes through the forest to guided e-bike tours. We’ll drive you with our 8-seater MONROC bus (just like a real expedition team!), but spots are limited — real explorers book early!
    In winter, spring, and autumn we offer a reduced schedule, but just ask and we’ll give you the latest info.

    Our experiences are real: 10–15 km hikes, 600–1000 m elevation gain. You need to be fit, love a good climb, and have proper gear. For e-bike tours, some downhill trail skills are required. If dirt trails and singletracks make your eyes sparkle — you’re in the right place.

    Booking is easy: check the updated program , pick your adventure, and reserve your spot.

  • Can I bring my dog/cat/parrot or snake?

    We know they’re part of the family, but MONROC is an allergy-free zone with super pure air. So, no pets allowed — with love and full respect.

  • Can I book treatments or massages?

    Yes sir. Book in advance or once you’re here — just know they’re popular, so don’t wait too long!

  • Are drinks included? And what about water in the room?

    Drinks from the minibar, at dinner or at the bar are not included in the room rate — but always served with care and style.

    As for water: it flows straight from the tap, fresh mountain spring water. Zero plastic, zero doubt. We’ll set you up with a MONROC glass bottle — refill it whenever you like. And if you like the bottle, you can buy it.

  • Daily towel change?

    Only if you leave them on the floor. If you hang them, you’ll use them again. Less waste, more Explorer spirit.

  • Do I need to reserve for dinner?

    If you’ve booked B&B only, a reservation is needed to enjoy your MONROC dinner experience.

  • Is there a garage or private parking? Can I leave the car and forget about it?

    Absolutely yes: a spot in our private garage is always included in the room rate (1 car per room). Here, you get around on foot, by bike, by cable car or using public transport. Your car can take a holiday too. Ask us for the Trentino Guest Card to travel for free on public transportation (lifts not included).

  • Is there air conditioning?

    Better. We’ve got cool, crisp mountain air and a mechanical ventilation system that purifies and refreshes. In summer, just open the window a little. Sleep deeper, live better.

  • Is there Wi-Fi?

    Yes there is, fiber high speed one. But we dare you not to use it much: the best signal here comes from a sunset in Val di Sole.

  • What are the opening hours of the SPA and wellness area?

    Our wellness area is open from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM — your peaceful hideaway between one adventure and the next.
    The Blue Mind Pool, our new heated outdoor pool, is open from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

    About children access:

    • Children under 15 years are not allowed in the wellness area.
    • Children under 12 may access the pool only from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
  • What are your booking and cancellation policies?

    With the Flexible Rate, we ask for a 30% deposit — refundable up to 30 days before arrival. The balance? You pay it at check-in.
    If you cancel last minute (late arrival or early departure), the rate stays the same. No surprises.

    With the Early Booking Rate, you play it early: full payment at booking, no refund. It’s the price of planning ahead.

  • What does it mean that you’re sustainable? What is the Green Manifesto?

    It means it’s not just a buzzword. We say no to single-use plastic, use renewable energy, choose local products, and live by our Green Manifesto.
    We’re certified Ecolabel and proud partners of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.

    Green Manifesto it’s our green ID card. It shows how you — brave little-big Explorer — can make a difference too. You’ll find it in your room. Read it, live it.

  • What time is check-in and check-out? What if I arrive late on check-in day?

    We welcome you with open arms from 3:00 PM for check-in.
    Check-out is by 10:00 AM, but if you want to squeeze in one last sip of MONROC, ask us about a late check-out (subject to availability).

    If you arrive late: No panic. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll prepare a dish in your room. It won’t be a full tour of our menu, but it’ll still be a tasty welcome.

  • What’s included (and what’s not)?

    SPA + outdoor pool, covered parking, bike & ski room, and Wi-Fi are all included — if you booked directly with us.
    If you went through third-party portals (like Booking & co.), wellness access costs €25 per person per day.

    Not included: tourist tax (€2.50 per person/day), drinks (minibar, bar, restaurant), treatments, massages, laundry, and outdoor activities.

  • When does breakfast start? What time is dinner at MONROC?

    From 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. But it’s not just breakfast — it’s your Explorer starting point. Gusto Lab, homemade sweets, fresh juices, eggs any way you like, and more energy than a Dolomites sunrise.

    Our restaurant welcomes you from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM.
    Precise timing, because our kitchen is all about love, calm, and respect — for those who cook and those who eat.

  • What if I need something in the room?

    We’ve got you covered with our signature MONROC beauty kit. And yes — you can buy the products if you fall in love with them.

  • Is MONROC suitable for children?

    We welcome everyone with a smile and open arms, but MONROC is designed for those seeking relaxation, peace, and deep nature vibes.
    We don’t offer dedicated kids’ services, and to keep the peace:

    • No access to the wellness area for under 15s
    • Pool access for kids under 12 only from 3:00 to 5:00 PM
    • Our outdoor activities are designed for adult Explorers, ready to go… higher (inside and out).
